Abby Wynja, MS Exercise Physiologist
Abby has over 10 years of experience in creating and managing exercise programs for aging and medically complex individuals. She studied Athletic Training at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. Recognizing the need for exercise within the aging population, Abby continued her education at Colorado State University where she completed her Masters of Science in Exercise Science. Her thesis was entitled "Resistance Training and its Effect on Total Energy Expenditure in the Elderly". Following her studies, Abby started her career at Medically Based Fitness in Longmont, CO. She now owns and operates Fitness is Medicine to further service her surrounding community.
